 Conexus Arts Centre has achieved the Discover Tourism employee-rated Employer of Choice designation. Conexus Arts Centre Client Services Manager, Lynn Severt has been chosen to serve with an elite group of International Event Managers to develop the International Event Management Certification Program. This group of Event Managers includes delegates from South Africa, Germany, Holland, Great Britian, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Austrailia. This international certification process is being developed by the Foreign Credential Recognition department of the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council. Ms. Severt’s Background includes - Chair of the Professional Regina Event Managers Association,   Certified Special Events Coordinator, Certified Events Manager, Train the Trainer – Sask. Tourism Education Council, Assisted in the development and re-evaluation/update of the Event Coordination and Event Manager for the Saskatchewan Tourism Education Council, Evaluator for Event Coordinator and Event Manager Certification for Sask. Tourism Education Council, Received The Ambassador Award for Events and Conferences Sector 2005 – in recognition of outstanding contribution to the development of professionalism in the tourism industry of Saskatchewan, Teach (via –email – on line) – An introductry course for Special Events through SIAST, Women of Distinction – Contribution to a Rural Community Award.             Congratulations Lynn

 This Spring, Conexus Arts Centre was named a finalist in the Saskatchewan Tourism Excellence Awards in the category of Customer Service Excellence, Business. Each staff member in every department of the Centre is trained to go above and beyond expectations to make certain our patrons, clients, and sponsors needs are always met. Our employees take great pride in providing the ultimate in customer service, and it is that pride that helps us achieve the standards that we do.
